You have chosen a buffalo leather jacket. Buffalo leather is one of the most resistant hides!
It often has a shiny or oily look, which prevents it from ageing too quickly.
The oilier your leather, the more important it is to waterproof it, especially before wearing it for the first time! An oily buffalo leather can transfer colour onto your clothes if it is not treated beforehand. Waterproofing prevents this.
For stains, we recommend using Fuller's earth. And to bring back the leather's original shine, a special leather grease is the ideal solution!
In any case, always test a care product on a hidden area of your item first. Some finishes or leather treatments may react differently from one product to another.
